About Katy

I am an artist and graphic designer from Renton, WA. In 2008 I earned my BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts with a minor in landscape design from the University of Washington. Since then I’ve expanded my skills through the graphic design certificate program at Bellevue College.

I combine my acrylic painting and digital art skills to create artwork that changes in dynamic ways under color-changing lights. When paired with music, I find that these shifting pieces calm my anxiety and stimulate my creative thinking. I also enjoy participating in public art opportunities and am exploring ways to incorporate my new artwork into public spaces.
